Sandboxes

Go to /admin → Sandboxes to manage test and PoC environments.

What sandboxes are

A sandbox is a workspace (brand-tenant) with special properties:

  • No billing — usage doesn’t count toward MAU or generate charges
  • Send restrictions — messages only deliver to verified test contacts (no accidental production sends)
  • Time-limited — auto-expires after a configurable period (default: 30 days)
  • Data isolation — fully isolated from production workspaces

Creating a sandbox

  1. Go to /admin → Sandboxes → Create
  2. Enter a name and select a template (blank, pre-seeded with demo data, or clone from production workspace)
  3. Set expiry (7, 14, 30 days, or custom)
  4. Optionally invite a prospect or team member by email

Managing sandboxes

The sandbox list shows:

  • Name and owner — who created it
  • Status — active, expired, converted
  • Expires — countdown to auto-deletion
  • Usage — contacts, events, campaigns created

Actions:

  • Extend — add more days before expiry
  • Convert to production — upgrade to a real workspace (data preserved, billing starts)
  • Delete — remove immediately
