Refer & Earn

Refer Active Reach to peers and earn back. Find everything under Settings → Refer & Earn.

Different from Loyalty → Referrals — that’s the program you set up for your customers to refer each other. This page is about you referring Active Reach to other businesses.

The 3 tiers

You start at the Member tier automatically. As your referrals add up, you can upgrade.

1. Member (default)

  • You get: 20% in credits on every paid invoice your referee pays, for the first 12 months of their subscription
  • They get: 1-month free trial with 5,000 contacts
  • Cap: 10 active referrals at a time
  • Limit: credits can offset up to 50% of any platform invoice; cannot offset SMS / WhatsApp / RCS / email gateway pass-through fees

When you hit 11 active referrals, an Upgrade to Affiliate banner appears in the hero.

2. Affiliate (KYC required)

  • You get: 25% in cash (paid via RazorpayX) instead of credits
  • You need: PAN + bank details + KYC approval (1 business day)
  • Tax: TDS deducted automatically per Indian regulations (10% no-PAN, 2% PAN, 0% PAN+GST). Form 16A generated quarterly.
  • Min payout: ₹1,000
  • Net-30: only commissions older than 30 days are payout-eligible

3. Agency (deal registration)

  • For partners onboarding larger customers (typically ₹2L+ ACV)
  • Register a prospect → 90-day exclusivity lock (no other agency can claim the same domain)
  • Submit proof of engagement (demo / proposal / signed contract) within 14 days
  • Custom commission terms negotiated per agency

Agency tier requires a signed reseller agreement with Active Reach. Contact your account team to start.

How to share

  1. Open Settings → Refer & Earn
  2. Copy your code OR click Share link (we generate a branded actii.me/refer/YOUR-CODE URL)
  3. Paste anywhere — WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, your website footer

When your referee signs up:

  • They see “Referred by YOUR-CODE” at the top of the signup screen
  • Your code is auto-filled in their onboarding form
  • Attribution lands the moment they complete onboarding

Wallet & redemption

The hero shows 4 wallet stats:

  • Available — spendable now
  • Pending — credits in the 30-day hold (60 for global referees); releases on the date shown
  • Lifetime earned — gross total
  • Redeemed — what you’ve already applied to past invoices

Click Redeem credits to apply your balance to your next invoice (up to the 50% per-invoice cap). Credits redeem first; remaining balance bills to your payment method as usual.

Track your referrals

The Referrals tab shows:

  • 5-tile funnel — total / active / expired / churned / earned
  • Pending release schedule (collapsible; auto-expands when next release is within 7 days)
  • Full referees table — who, when, status, commission earned

The Activity tab is your full ledger with filter chips: referrals earned · pending · released · chargebacks · dormancy fees · credit-to-cash conversions · redemptions.

Common questions

Can I refer my own other business? No — same PAN / IP / email indicators trigger our self-referral detection and reject the attribution.

What happens if my referee cancels? Future commissions stop. Already-credited amounts stay (we don’t claw back). Chargebacks ARE clawed back against your balance.

Why is my balance going down? Possible causes: a referee chargeback, dormancy fee (₹500/mo for inactive Affiliates after 12 months), or credit expiry (180 days). The Activity tab shows the exact line item.

Can Affiliates also be Agencies? Yes — once you have a signed reseller agreement, both tabs unlock and your wallet tracks credits + cash + custom-deal commission separately.
