Ads

Active Reach manages your paid advertising alongside organic messaging. Connect your Meta and Google Ads accounts (or use Active Reach’s managed accounts), and the platform handles campaign creation, budget allocation, creative generation, retargeting coordination, conversion reporting, and measurement.

What you can do

  • Connect ad accounts — Meta Business Manager and Google Ads, via OAuth or managed-mode provisioning
  • Create ad campaigns — goal-based wizard for SMBs, full-control builder for advanced teams
  • AI creative generation — generate ad copy, images, and variants from your brand kit
  • Retargeting cascades — multi-platform retargeting flows with cross-platform suppression
  • DPA & Shopping — product-feed-driven dynamic ads on Meta DPA / Collection / Feed and Google Shopping / Discovery
  • Conversions API — server-side conversion reporting to Meta CAPI and Google Conversions API
  • Cart recovery ads — abandoned-cart retargeting with embedded payment links
  • Budget management — allocate daily budgets, rebalance across campaigns, set spend caps
  • Governance — quality monitoring, URL validation, compliance checks
  • Incrementality measurement — prove that ads drive incremental revenue with holdout tests
  • Lead capture — collect and manage leads from Meta Lead Ads and Google Lead Forms

Two onboarding modes

How you connect ad accounts shapes everything downstream. Pick the mode that matches your stage.

Managed mode

Active Reach holds the Meta Business Manager and Google Ads MCC; your workspace is provisioned as a sub-account.

Best forWhy
Workspaces with no existing ad historySkip the OAuth dance and account creation — start advertising in minutes
Workspaces wanting a single platform feeActive Reach manages spend and bills you in one invoice
Customers who want Active Reach to absorb policy / disapproval riskActive Reach handles the appeals process at the platform level

Provisioned automatically on workspace creation; visible at Ads → Settings → Account.

BYOM (Bring Your Own Manager)

You connect your existing Meta Business Manager and Google Ads account via OAuth.

Best forWhy
Established advertisers with existing campaign / pixel / catalog historyContinuity — pixel events from before the connection feed Active Reach attribution
Agencies managing multiple client accountsEach client retains ownership of their advertising assets
Workspaces with custom MCC structures (linked customers, complex permissions)Active Reach reads your existing structure rather than provisioning a new one

Connect at Ads → Settings → Connect ad account.

The user-facing surface is identical between managed and BYOM. The platform-side reality differs (whose Business Manager / MCC, whose pixel, whose catalog), but the UI you see, the campaigns you create, and the reports you read are the same.

Two creative modes

Independent of the onboarding mode, you also pick how much campaign control you want:

SMB mode

A simplified experience:

  • Goal-based campaign creation (traffic, leads, sales)
  • AI-generated creative suggestions
  • Auto-managed budgets with spending guardrails
  • Actii proposes optimisations you approve

Advanced mode

Full control:

  • Manual campaign structure (campaigns, ad sets, ads)
  • Custom audience targeting and exclusions
  • Keyword management for Search campaigns
  • Weekly cadence scheduling
  • Incrementality experiments

Switch modes at Settings → General → Workspace Mode.
