Create a data pipe
Go to Settings → Data Pipes → New to connect a new data source.
Select your platform
Browse the connector catalog and pick your platform. Connectors are grouped by category (E-commerce, CRM, Analytics, Warehouse, POS, Custom).
Authenticate
Authentication varies by connector:
| Method | Used by |
|---|---|
| OAuth | Shopify, HubSpot, Salesforce, Google (BigQuery, Sheets) |
| API key | MSG91, Gupshup, Infobip, AppsFlyer, Branch |
| Service account JSON | BigQuery, Firebase |
| Username + password | Snowflake, custom SMTP |
For OAuth connectors, you’re redirected to the platform to authorize. For API key connectors, paste your credentials.
Configure sync
- Objects to sync — which data types to import/export (contacts, orders, events, products)
- Field mapping — map source fields to Active Reach contact properties. Auto-mapping detects standard fields; manual mapping for custom fields.
- Sync direction — inbound only, outbound only, or bidirectional
- Sync frequency — real-time (webhooks), hourly batch, or daily batch
Test the connection
Click Test to verify:
- Credentials are valid
- The source is reachable
- A sample record syncs correctly
Activate
Click Activate to start the data flow. Initial sync runs immediately (backfills historical data for supported connectors). Ongoing sync follows the configured frequency.
What’s next
- Sync health — monitor the connection
- Import contacts — alternative import methods
